Safety

Nerve Savior Side Effects and Who Should Ask First

Quick answer

Most possible Nerve Savior side effects are mild, such as nausea, cramps or loose stools.

Headache or dizziness can also happen. Ginkgo may raise bleeding risk with blood thinners, and green tea extract and too much vitamin B6 over time carry rarer risks.

The short version

What are the side effects of Nerve Savior?

The most likely side effects are stomach-related and mild: nausea, cramps, loose stools or dry mouth. Headache and dizziness are also possible. These come from the ingredient research, because no trial of Nerve Savior has been published.

A few rarer risks deserve more attention. With blood thinners, ginkgo may add to bleeding risk (NCCIH, Ginkgo). Green tea extract has been linked to rare liver injury (LiverTox, Green Tea). And vitamin B6, taken in excess for a long time, can itself damage nerves (ODS, Vitamin B6).

The doses are probably small, since 11 ingredients share 600 mg. Still, "natural" does not always mean safe (NCCIH, Using Supplements Wisely).

The B6 point

Can the vitamin B6 in Nerve Savior cause tingling?

It can if your total B6 intake stays too high for too long. Large doses of B6 cause numbness, sensory changes and trouble coordinating movement, the very symptoms many buyers want to ease (MedlinePlus, Vitamin B6).

The label hides the B6 amount inside the blend. Its ceiling is about 86 mg a day. That is below the U.S. upper limit of 100 mg, but the European Food Safety Authority set a 12 mg adult limit in 2023 after reviewing neuropathy reports (ODS, Vitamin B6). The adult need is only 1.3 to 1.7 mg (ODS, Vitamin B6). The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke lists excess B6 as a known vitamin-related cause of neuropathy (NINDS, Peripheral Neuropathy).

Count every source

Multivitamins, B-complex pills and other nerve formulas often contain B6. Add them up with your pharmacist. If tingling gets worse after starting Nerve Savior, stop and tell your doctor.

Warning signs

When should you stop Nerve Savior and call a doctor?

Stop right away if you notice signs of bleeding, liver trouble or worsening nerve symptoms. Then call your doctor and bring the bottle.

Stop and call

Unusual bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums or black stools. Yellow skin or eyes, dark urine or pain under the right ribs. Tingling, numbness or clumsiness that is new or getting worse. A rash, swelling or trouble breathing needs emergency care.

For an upset stomach or headache that does not pass, stop the capsules. Never take extra capsules to "catch up" on a missed day.

Keep one more thing in mind. Numbness, tingling or burning in the feet can signal diabetes, low B12 or another condition. Checking your feet daily and seeing a doctor promptly matters more than any supplement (CDC, Diabetes & Feet).

Reporting

How do you report a side effect from Nerve Savior?

Tell your doctor first, then report it to the FDA through its MedWatch safety reporting program. You can file a MedWatch report yourself, without a doctor, and it helps FDA spot problems with supplements.

  1. Get care

See your doctor or urgent care, and keep the bottle with its label.

  2. Report to FDA MedWatch

Describe what happened, when you started and what else you take. Makers must pass serious reports to FDA within 15 days (FDA 101, Supplements).

  3. Tell the seller

Call the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 or use your eBay order page. The listing shows a 30-day return window; see our returns guide.

FAQ

Nerve Savior side effects: common questions

Does Nerve Savior have side effects?

It can. No trial of the product exists, but its ingredients have known effects: bacopa can cause nausea and loose stools, ginkgo can cause headache and dizziness, and green tea extract contains caffeine. Most are mild at small doses. Stop and call a doctor if anything feels wrong.

Can Nerve Savior cause tingling or numbness?

Possibly, through its vitamin B6. Too much B6 over months can cause numbness and poor coordination. Nerve Savior's B6 is capped at about 86 mg a day but not printed, so if tingling starts or worsens after you begin, stop and tell your doctor.

Is Nerve Savior safe with anticoagulants like warfarin?

Only with your doctor's approval. Nerve Savior contains ginkgo, which may raise bleeding risk with anticoagulants such as warfarin and with antiplatelet drugs. Your prescriber can judge the risk and decide whether extra monitoring is needed.

Is Nerve Savior safe for diabetics?

Ask your doctor first. The blend includes cinnamon extract, and it is unclear whether cinnamon affects blood sugar. If you take metformin, ask for a B12 blood test too. Keep your diabetes treatment and daily foot checks going; Nerve Savior does not replace them.

Is Nerve Savior bad for your liver?

Liver problems are rare but possible. Green tea extract pills have been tied to liver injury, usually 1 to 6 months after starting, and cassia cinnamon contains coumarin. People with liver disease should ask a doctor first. Yellow skin or dark urine means stop and call.

How do I report a bad reaction to a supplement?

Report it to the FDA through MedWatch, its safety reporting program, after you get medical care. Include the product name, the label, when you started and your other medicines. Also tell your doctor and the seller so the order can be handled.

Can you take Nerve Savior while pregnant?

Not without your doctor's approval. The label tells pregnant or nursing mothers to consult a physician before using it. Bring the bottle to your obstetrician so they can review all 11 ingredients and your other prenatal supplements.
